About Us
The Swadhin Nursing institute is dedicated to training the female youth in health care and nursing skills. Under the West Bengal Nursing Council and the Indian Nursing council, students are taught to be the pioneers in the healthcare industry. Besides the teaching, the staff is also dedicated to providing counsel and motivation to the students. The trainees go through rigorous training and are offered GNM and B.Sc Nursing.

Offered Courses
Both the courses have a common requirement and that is you need to pass the 12th grade before applying for the courses. In the case of GNM, you must get at least 40% in overall and English subject separately in your 12th Grade. In contrast, the B.Sc in nursing would require you to have at least 45% in 12th grade from science stream with PCB

After completing the course we are providing rewarding career in our Hospital SANTINIKETAN MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL. Student also can apply in another hospital (Gnm and B.Sc) and other school of nursing (B.Sc) and also any type of compitative examination.

We provide safe and efficient transportation for our students, faculty and staff for any clinical duty, community duty, external class and examination also.We are providing transportation for any type of health issues ( 24*7)
Smart classroom
Every classroom are designed according to the rules of INC. Every classroom are well equipped with benches, chair, table, smart board. We are also using various Av-aids like chart, poster, model, projector .
Ragging free campus
STUDENTS are STRICTLY WARNED AGAINST any kind of RAGGING under any pretext and resort to any form of intimidation, wrongful confinement, physical or mental harassment, injury or any kind of annoyance, abusive language or insult based on communal, religious, linguistic or any other aspect. Ragging is a cognizable offence under Criminal Law enacted by the Central and State Governments.
Internet /Wifi
We also provide internet connectivity to student for their online learning, communication, research in college and hostel premises.
Skill laboratory
Without the skill laboratory, nursing courses are incomplete.We provide the all lab facilities like FON LAB,OBG LAB, COMMUNITY LAB, NUTRITION LAB, PEDIATRICS LAB,AV AIDS LAB, COMPUTER LAB.All the labs are well equipped with modern equipment, instrument, dummies.
Library
